in my opinion that non signing destroyed what they were building, I know you remember Goff fixating on Kupp during that time, but as the season went on he started getting better. Sammy helped Goff the O line everybody, and Cooks was very good but he did not scare you with his physical presence, to me Sammy was a fullback playing receiver and he would take those slants and run over people. I believe after the 49 res witness the carnage they started drafting receiver's in Sammy Watkins mold, big strong fast athletes. Sammy destroyed the 49 er's and KC.
