Agreed. Both those clowns have failed to step up when the Rams needed them to. Brown had a golden opportunity in 2019 with Gurley a shadow of his former self and this offense looked like garbage with him in there. Same thing last year the guy is a drive killer if you put him in the pattern, in fact he did some really dumb things like running his DB on a crosser and into the play when he was on the opposite side of the field to ruin a tunnel screen. I am sure McVay was yanking his hair out in clumps watching some of those games on film and after that they started lining him up in the flat and standing there at times when they had things going on away from him.
Hendy same deal. The guy can make plays if you give him a seam but he's not been able to step up when we need him for two years in a row.
But you know even with the above I consider Hendy as a change of pace guy in this offense. He just has to realize that Sean McVay is not going to give him much more opportunity if he doesn't start producing.
Jones meanwhile is an unknown. But since we already know as you pointed out what Hendy and Brown are he is a guy who should be competing for the backup job this year.
