I can't rule out some WR at vet's minimum, but outside of that it doesn't make any sense. They have way too much wrapped up in Woods and Kupp, and they've just been restructured, and precious little cap space to play with. So I imagine the Rams are going to be looking for a dual threat WR/KR in the draft, but it's hard to predict at what point. I suspect their first 2 picks will be stacked such that LT, Center, Edge, WR and CB will be in play, and they'll select from whichever of these are graded the highest. If they're all pretty equal, I'd imagine WR/KR or CB would take priority. LT would be too much of a luxury this year as he'd only be a back up. Edge likewise. And depending on what they do at Center in FA, perhaps the same issue here. I just find it untenable that they would not get a FA Center, but rather go into the draft knowing that they HAD to pick up a starter and be pretty much stuck with it. They're not going to do that to Stafford.
They need starters or immediate rotation players with their first 2 picks, and they have NEED at deep threat fast WR and KR. And, CB is a position that you can never have too many good ones.
