Depending on how Rams structure those contracts, it might be doable.
Two factors are at play here.
1. Most FA’s are gonna find that this Covid cap reduction is gonna require them to be ‘fluid’ in either their price demands or in the terms that teams will insist upon. This could work in Rams favor.
2. Most experts feel that the new cap in 2022 and beyond will be way up due to new TV contract signing. This, too, could make Ram ‘creative’ structuring more feasible.
I’m optimistic.
