Every year it seems, there are certain players that numerous experts project to the Rams in the Draft. I thought it would be fun to compile a list of such players from over the years. I will start it off with Cade McNown in 1999. As some might recall, the Rams ended up with a much better situation at QB that year! Even before Warner exploded onto the scene, the Rams picked up Trent Green, but there was talk at some point about the possibility of the Rams going after McNown. My memory is a bit fuzzy, but I definitely recall there was some such talk (must have been before the Rams signed Trent Green).
