I checked his 40 time in hopes that he could be the deep speed the Rams might be lacking. At 6-1, 197 he ran a 4.50 at the combine. So I guess the answer is 'no'.
I think Jefferson has the inside track at filling the Reynold's void so I'm thinking Jackson ceiling this year is WR4 behind Woods, Kupp, and Jefferson.
He would have to beat out Webster to do that but it wouldn't surprise me if he did. Webster is smaller (5'10"
and slower (4.55) and hasn't distinguished himself as either a WR or a return guy. Not only didn't Webster catch a pass last year, he wasn't even targeted.
As for punt returns? 25 returns for a 7.4 avg (21st in the league among guys with at least 10 returns), 17 fair catches, and 3 fumbles. His longest return was 34 yards.
And kickoffs? 16 returns, 21.7 average (26th in the league among guys with at least 10 returns), with a long of 30.
