Rams don't need a prospect. They need a plug and play CENTER in FA. I think the Rams go the "Sullivan" route at CENTER because it worked before, and they got to the SB!
Doing it in the drills rather than the game isn't a negative. From what I understand from scouts and experts I've read and even some things Snead has said, the value of the Senior Bowl is the drills. Half the scouts leave for the game.
When you have a small school player who can consistently beat other highly touted players from the big conferences in the one on ones, you know the guy can play. That puts to rest the concern about the level of competition.
I agree though that they will probably sign a vet center in FA. I'm thinking someone like Alex Mack or Ben Garland.
