Yes Fran was originally stuck on losing teams for the most part. In 1970 the Giants team he was on Coached by former Longtime Giants RB Alex Webster were 9-5 that yr, but our Rams beat Fran and the Giants the last game of the season 31-3 to knock them out of the Playoffs. The only thing is our Rams needed the whiners to lose the last game of the season but they Won and we lost the NFC West by a half game at 9-4-1 as the whiners finished 10-4. Ironically longtime Ram DE Fred Dryer was on that Giants team with Fran in 1970. I remember Fred Dryer saying he was friends with Fran except when he wore that Viking Jersey lol ! GO RAMS !
