For the first time since played, I watched the Saints game (Flipper's huge night)

I had seen highlights countless times but last night was the first time I sat through it all. Well...about 90% of it. Outside of Everett hitting Flipper everytime he threw it to him and Kevin Greene's HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE stop in O.T., I forgot just how bad the Rams played that night! They were TERRIBLE in the Red Zone and the O line played maybe its worst game. And I mean with TERRIBLE penalties. Blocking could have been much better BUT........I have been watching the NFL since the early 70s and the LBers of the Saints from the late 80s to early 90s was THE best I have ever seen! Rams never quit that night even after tripping themselves sooo many times. I remember watching that game live from the Fire Station Alarm Room which was perched on top of the hose tower at Eaker AFB in Blytheville, Ark. The next week, me and two buds drove over to Little Rock and caught a flight to Dallas to see the Rams win 35 to 31. 1989 was a VERY fun year!
