The natural choice, it would seem, is Ben Garland from the 49ers. Mack is lobbying to rejoin Shanahan. They still have Weston Richburg under contract. At age 32 Garland would be an odd man out, and he already knows the basis of our offense. Last year he played for $2 million, which sounds about right for this year as well.
Meanwhile we can draft an OC and ready him to take over.
