I know the never trade in your division rule is really a thing but if we had offered them what we gave up for Stafford would they have said no? (provisos being I understand part of that was to take Goff's bad contract off our hands but if Russ and Ciara really wanted to be in LA would the Seahawks have done it for the 1 and the three (IN DIVISION), realizing other teams might offer more but if they got wind Russ wanted LA more than say Chicago(in this scenario I guess we jettison Goff with a #1 to Lions to lose contract)??? Just fantasy booking during the long offseason. I am glad we got off of the QB carousel and look forward to the Stafford era but after having a QB who needed to perfect script to get the job done(Goff), I have always wondered what if would be like to have a qb that could improvise as well as Russ can.
