In watching Mahomes these last few years, it seems like many of his most awesome plays were after scrambling around and after improvising. I think a lot of people, myself included, thought that even if he was forced to scramble he would find a way to pull a rabbit out of his hat like he always does. However, it just seemed like he was running backwards and taking the ball 15 yards into the backfield instead of running side to side and he just wasn't able to make the miraculous plays that we are all used to. That last throw that he attempted was unbelievable............ completely laid out, fully extended, and almost hitting the ground but still able to get a throw off. It was unsuccessful but still crazy impressive!
