First they have our ex-scout as their GM who is well aware of Goff's ascent and recent failings. I am sure the owner was briefed to exhaustion about Goff's issues because there is no way Brad is going to deceive them in his first act as GM. This is why the Rams paid 2 first round picks and a third round pick on top of Goff.
But there is a chance they hit on a 1 overall reclamation. And that along with the strength of the compensation in this trade will keep what you fear from happening.
That's not to say we can't have a problem with a physical on either side that stuff happens. But don't sweat Detroit getting cold feet.
