Yes he did get a raw deal in SD. I remember they showed him before the Playoff Game vs the Cheatriots in warmups telling a Charger DB if he gets the game sealing Pick to go down. Of course he gets the game sealing pick later but he dont go down, running around holding the ball up, then he gets it token from him by Troy Brown and the Chargers go on to lose. He could not have coached him up any better. He was a Great HC but didnt get some breaks needed to get over the hump, In a Playoff Game yrs earlier in 95 vs the Colts his Kicker missed 3 FGs to cost them the Win. It reminded me of a Modern day Chuck Knox and the weird stuff that went on vs the Vikings that wasnt his fault.
