Too soon to talk about Rams options at Center?

February 02, 2021 02:23PM
Most of us agree that C is a high priority to be addressed this offseason. Perhaps the highest priority.

But which option is best?

We know that Snead hates to enter a draft with a gaping hole anywhere. So maybe Snead plugs in a 2nd tier FA there for insurance then goes for his long term C with a high draft pick? Maybe even his 2nd? Draft gurus have opined that at least one of 3 studs should be there at our pick in the 2nd.

OR...

Should Rams go serious restructure route on AD, Ramsey, and/or more other players and splurge on an expensive but proven vet C such as maybe Linsley, or another like him?

OR...

Maybe Snead/Kromer like a C that they feel strongly will still be there when their comp 3rds roll around?

OR...

Are Snead/Kromer thinking that their future starting C is already on the roster in Corbett or Shelton, or...?

Hmmmmm...

Man, there are advantages and disadvantages to each of these strategies. Maybe you have another and better strategy in mind. What would you do?

The Rams may already have their center on their team

That would be really nice but if it was true...

The Browns could not wait to get rid of him and I think I remember them saying he was getting tossed by UDFA
