I feel the NFL killed the Pro Bowl once players stopped really playing and Goodell decided to do that "moving" Pro bowl idea. I agree 100% with you, the lure was a beautiful week in Hawaii.
I went to the pro bowl in 1996 in Hawaii spent the entire week there. Loved every second of it. Sat behind Ashley Ambrose's wife, Got Darrel Green's Glove, Watched Isaac Bruce in his 1st ever Pro Bowl, Chatted with Kevin Greene and Hardy Nickerson in the parking lot prior to the game at our Tailgate since we had VIP parking and parked in the Players and coaches parking lot.
Man, that was a blast. I would not even attend one now, at least then we had Hawaii, the weather, the pure beauty of it all. Now, its just a bunch of millionaires trying not to get hurt in some city that I probably don't care to visit.
