You wanta toss around "excuse" flames (which to me just always only means "I disagree but don't offer real debate just flame posts." ) Then it falls on deaf ears.
Fact. Stafford suffered behind poor OLs in Detroit. When it comes to that he is no different from any qb--cause (with 1 or 2 exceptions) they all do. He's not one of the very rare ones who rise above it.
So the Rams still need to do OL work. They were solid a lot of the time last year, but also badly inconsistent, with some real clunker games from the OL at times. Stafford is no more going to rise above that if it continues than any other qb would.
