From what I've read and what guys have posted, that would destroy them from a salary cap standpoint. It's just not practically possible.

More likely, they'll see if they can move him after June 1st.

All signs point to that.

I brought this up a while ago, and I see some talking about it now: restructuring his contract.

But what's the incentive for Goff to do that?

The Rams have not-so-subtly telegraphed their feelings on Goff, and in doing so, given up their leverage.

Think about it. What does Goff stand to gain from renegotiating? He knows the Rams cap situation. He knows how they feel about him.

Maybe I'm missing something, but that's how I see it.
