I know now after 5 years of being an NFL QB, Goff just isn't great and most likely never will be. He has, IMO, reached his peak. He has arm talent no doubt but the flaws in his game hold him back.
But, he is still a good QB. He's better than what we've had for many moons before him. Do I want to settle for good? Nope. But unless you've got a proven commodity to replace him and not a question mark, I think that's a bigger risk.
I think it's a pipe dream about getting Rogers or Watson, or even Stafford. I believe we have Goff as our QB for AT LEAST one more season, while they work on finding a replacement, that hopefully would be better than Goff.
