Because work is slow this morning I looked at the coaching staffs that McVay has worked on. (Tampa Bay, Florida Tuskers & Washington) Among them are multiple head coaches and offensive coordinators. Interestingly, Jay Gruden is the only one who is currently unemployed. It would be great if he joined our staff, but that might be a step down for him.
Another possible name is Keenan McCardell who has had success coaching WR's and worked with McVay in 2010 and '11, as well as current Green Bay OC Nathaniel Hackett '17-'18 and Jay Gruden in 2020. His availability is currently in limbo until the Jaguars determine if they are keeping him on staff.
