Sometimes watching a game you get an odd feeling over a coaches decision. Don't know if it was "wrong" but it did seem odd to me. My immediate thought was -how does a field goal help since you would still have to score a td? One answer is that the best you could hope for on a 4th down td plus a two pt. conversion you have tied the game whereas if after the FG you get the ball back and score a td you win. Either way Brady was going to get the ball back and you would have to stop him. So assuming you miss on the 4th down attempt for a td and stop Brady the best you can hope for is a tie.
