Our offensive line was really poor last year and our team doubled down on the idea that they just needed time to grow. No matter where we put them this year (most metrics were high on them this year) they were average at worst. Blythe is the only expiring contract. Next is Corbett in 2022. I feel like Mcvay is much more likely to keep at least 3 starters on the line and maybe 4. Maybe we sign the best center on the market? But I don't think there will be much turnover until 2022 at the earliest.
I hope we can get Whitworth to come back that would be huge....what we need is just some country strong dudes in the middle....I can see maybe just replacing either Blythe at center or maybe move him back to guard and upgrade the Edwards/Evans spot...They are not bad run blockers, they just got pushed around and ran over or by the better DL's in obvious passing downs too often.
We need that bully like we had with Saffold I think we target C/OG in draft early and if not maybe in FA
