Look we all know that Wolford is an inferior QB with accuracy issues. But receivers were open on those deep shots and he took them. The fact he missed could speak to him being an inferior QB. (as an aside, 3 for 8 on deep shots is a 37.5% comp. rate which is higher than Goff's 31.1% for the year.)
The fact he took them and they were open is proof that the OL is not solely or even mostly responsible for the lack of deep shots this year. That was the point of deep shots being brought up and the context of the thread.
If you and R2F are having focusing issues and want to change the subject be my guest. I'm not entertaining it beyond what I stated above regarding Wolford's deficiencies.
I know you are really eager to leap to that conclusion based on one game, which is now apparently an adequate sample size.
But you can;t do that in this case because for all you know they decided after looking Arizona over that they could do that to that D.
And that it might be a way to make up for having a qb who had accuracy issues and best trait--almost--was running (I said "almost" cause he was too reckless about it).
So prove that that wasn't just an assessment they had based on the opponent after having already played them.
You can;t prove that unless you decided that 1 game is an adequate sample size even though on another issue, 6 games aren't.
You CAN however assert how strongly you BELIEVE IT. That's never an argument of course but still.
