I would say, on the surface, the hire is an upgrade. Even his
worst season in these rankings (2017) is better than the Rams 2020 season (30th). The average rankings across these 6 seasons is 15th (Football Outsiders) and 13th (Gosselin). If he can get the Rams back into the top half of the league it would be a pretty big boost.
