Ok Do you get rid of a QB that is not Subpar but that is not playing at the level when the offense was above par. I think the chages in the offense should be able to elevate the play but if the play has been subpar for several of its key contributors its the offense that needs tweaking and then I would agree whole heartedly you do not add by subtracting. You add by adding. Competition at QB, OL and upgrading WR are all possible. I am looking forward to see what we can do but I am not optimistic if we start emploding.
We probably see the QB differently. I see him as a subpar QB who's weaknesses were being hidden by McVay but now the league has figured him out.
And IMO, that's how McVay views it. He is definitely dissatisfied with Goff which is why we have the current controversy.
