Actually, I disagree if you tell us he looks petulant. That’s what Sean Peyton looks like. McVay is waaay more composed than Sean Peyton and in spite of Peyton’s teenage antics, he still puts together winning teams.

So, I think you’re mischaracterizing McVay. I could agree that he lacks years of football experience compared to his older peers, but that solely based on numbers.

As he acquires those years going forward, I’d rather see it advantage a young fiery, but surprisingly composed young man, like McVay.

He is NOT even close to some of those “boy geniuses” like Lane Kiffen, or Steve Sarkissian. That’s what immature head coaches in their early 30s look like.

I think you’re way off.
