I think it’s speculative to try to decipher meaning behind what McVay has said in interviews over the last two days. That being said I do believe there has been a change in both McVay and Goff’s demeanor in interviews since Goff disagreed with starting Wolford in Seattle. The statements that stuck out to me the most over the last three weeks by McVay were : in response to Wolford taking deep shots and if that was a new wrinkle because of the change at QB, McVay said no those opportunities are always in the game plan, and today when asked about the conservative, high percentage type of offense that was the norm this year, Sean stated that something along the lines that no he doesn’t want to try to make a living moving fwd with that type of offense. Should be an interesting offseason.
