For me the McVay/Shanny offense has never been more effective. It is the most QB friendly hard to stop offense in football. Exhibit A the Packers run the exact same offense with the best qb in the game. It is all the rage. Now we can't have Rodgers only one of them, we can try to mimic them. They have a better OL than us. They also have an elite playmaker on offense (all pro level). Were we to upgrade the OL, and find the all pro weapon on offense our defense might be able to overcome the GB advantage at the QB position. Now Akers might become that weapon or a receiver that makes Woods our #2 & #3 receivers.
