And what does it mean if he did take it as motivation? Wouldn't that suggest that he wasn't motivated before that? Why did it take Wolford coming in for Goff to clean up his turnovers? That doesn't seem like such a good thing, does it?
I don't think it is good but the evidence shows Goff's play did improve after the week 17 Wolford experience. He seemed more focused and WAS more secure with the ball. I would also much rather be in our situation going forward (because they did get a ring out of it) than the Eagles.
