If it was purely CBD, yeah, you're not going to get a buzz lol.
Otherwise, they could've just had low dose of THC for those that don't want a buzz and just zzzzz (sleeping).
Kinda like people that microdose with LSD. Just enough to make 'em peppy but avoid the trip.
Why anyone would drop acid with the intent of not tripping is beyond me.
But, that is purely hypothetical of course.
I would never personally indulge or encourage someone to participate in such activity!
