Neglect or presumption is on the HC.
If he was losing confidence in his QB1 it is his responsibility to address that and Wolford as QB2 cannot be seen as great prep or a correction on his part. So go ahead and blame Goff for poor play calling, clock management and the lack of a deep threat WR. Blame Goff all you want but if the corrections are not the cure then guess who's next? I certainly feel his abreviated swipe at Goff's job status that muffled his "now" show you that he recognizes he is going to have to do more than talk a good talk now. He now has added appologetics and deceit and lies to what he will be saying in following weeks trying to clean that up. Others will have to clean the mess that he has made and he will try to jump back in line and distance himself from that half hearted proclaimation. Yes Snead will need to do someithing and if he can't then McVay is on the clock. If I am Goff I would not be worried too much due to the money he makes and the power of the position. The Eagles are in a HC search and their Coach won thier first SB with a backup QB when their League MVP candidate QB was injured. Wolford was not going to be that guy for us folks! Wolford has yet to throw a TD or lead a drive to 6 points or complete 2 games. That guy who won for Philly once threw for 7 tds in a game.
I am unashamed as a Goff fan and if he is replaced I certainly hope his replacement can put up 2017-2018 numbers because Goff has set that standard. Goff has made McVay look brilliant but now McVay is making Goff look like a scrub and that shameful and careless response further blames Goff for all ills when america knows differently. McVay may think he knows what's wrong but if he is not part of what's wrong no one is.
