First off the better team( and the healthier team ) one today unfortunately.
Rams #1 off season priority
They need a field stretcher!!!
Their plays take so long to develop!
Rams #2 priority get some meat in the middle, mainly center.
I think all of those that have written off Goff need to eat some Crow he played a damn good game. I am bummed but realistic to know we just got dominated in the trenches
Silver lining this game may have taken some of the sine off of Staley
He first half of the season he started off conservative then second half he was more aggressive I question why he was os conservative at the start????
No question. Blythe at minimum has to go. I'm not sold on Corbett either. We need to get much stronger there, and on the interior D line as well. As much as there is sentimentality for Brockers, he's jumped the shark. And A'Shawn Ronbinson needs to go.
I'd like to see us land a guy like Vita Vea.
We just lost so I understand the need to want to make major changes but man you're tossing people overboard pretty fast here.
On a defense that was consistently top 3 all year, largely on the back of a dominant DL and secondary, you're saying that two of those DL guys are no good?
They may need to get rid of one of Brockers or Robinson to free up some money but not both and not because either has jumped the shark. Brockers, in particular, had a very good year.
It seems there's a 98.52321% consensus that Blythe needs to go. I'm not sure on Corbett yet.
I hear ya, but consider this - the Rams let Brockers go - for a reason. He's a good guy, and a warrior, but he got handled. So did Robinson (BIG disappointment). So did Gaines, & SeaBas. Teams that really want to run the ball on us, will. If they have a complimentary passing game, we're in trouble.
If Robinson had turned out to what we had hoped, things could have been different. If we didn't have an existing problem there, we wouldn't have pursued Robinson in the 1st place. We need to make a change there.
