Not to beat a dead horse, but what happened? Sorry to bring this up again. I know it has been debated over and over again, but I am just amazed at the drop off. Just watched the game on NFL network. 2018- Goff was confident, he threw the ball accurately with velocity with or without pressure. Middle and long throws were accurate and with touch. He threw to the spot to lead receivers open. He saw the blitzes coming and adjusted. 2020 vs 2018- there is no comparison. How did his skill ability drop so drastically. I had forgotten how many down field throws he would make that would hit the receiver in stride. He looked like the guy that deserved a big contract. His stats for the game were 19/35 for 295 yards, 3 tds and no int. Thumb or no thumb, we need that Goff tomorrow!
