based on his previous games in cold weather without a thumb injury, my expectations for him were very low. Just based on how poorly he has played since the second SF game (with the 1st Cards game being the outlier) my expectations are generally low for Goff.
And on top of that Lefleur knows Goff and his weaknesses very well. Even from the neck up. My guess is with Goff at QB it will be ugly.
Can the Rams win even if he plays as poorly as he did last week but Goff just doesn't make any killer mistakes and makes a few plays to keep a drive alive? Idk... if they can do that against the Packers.... but 9 of 19 is not going to cut it
I will be watching tho' and the Rams have exceeded my expectations this year. AD is injured, Kupp I think is more injured than they are letting on, Goff is injured, and even before the injury obviously was not playing well regardless. Rams are the 6th seen going on the road the play a much healthier #1 seeded Packers team with the league MVP at QB
All I can do is hope for the best but I have zero confidence in Jared Goff
At least if it was Wolf he gives the Rams offense some energy
