Yes McVay has OC acumen but his philosophy and his own inconsistency when managing a game or just his controlling approach is not for everyone. He may do it because he craves or needs a more athletic QB. His counterpart in GB, Lafleur is probably the better Offensive QB guru and has had success with Ryan and Rogers propelling each to MVP caliber years. Goff under the right environment can have a year like Ryan in him, he may even blossom in a more hospitable environment where he can really have some input and expression with regards to the plays. Surely he is learning a lot but now he has to execute. He no longer seems to fit what we are doing since we are not doing it as we did when he was successful.
