Fowler was a plus blindside edge rusher for us. Floyd has been elite. He is a difference maker in the run game and moves all over and gets consistent pressure now in the passing game too. He's also rangy and routinely drops and covers in the flats with good result. You're talking about an all-around stud here.

The announcers in the Seattle game quoted Staley as saying that with Floyd's all around game, he is playing the edge as well as anyone in the league.

That's high praise.
