Sure, that's a decent explanation but another good one is the explanation it seems you haven't wanted to consider: maybe the passing game was altered so drastically to accommodate the limitations of the QB.

I can't say that I agree that the OL got dominated in the Jets game but it's really not important because I agree that it doesn't seem they should be ranked 3rd. There were some problematic games.

And it either wore down towards the end of the season or that was the effect of missing Whit. Probably both.

I think it was better than 12th though.
