if a team is behind enough they leave the run, and or the pack are playing the pass on D. I do know they have 2 guys with the last name Smith who go by the Smith bros......and they get after it on the pass rush....
Not so sure I'd start full scale with the run....I think they will come all out in the start to stuff the run, put us in longs and kill us with the rush.
As bad as his thumb is ( if he starts) we need to do some 1st down passes even if they are short outs or slants....NO WR screens please. If Wolford starts I'd still do the same, but his mobility could gain 2-4 yards putting us in a workable 2nd and 3rd down. As you settle in start running the ball more. Get them off their assumed plan of stopping the run 1st, making us pass.
Make them have to be aware of the pass 1st, then start up the run game....That's my idea anyway.
