That article flies in the face of many who are writing off Jared. The offense as a whole has issues and Goff had his share of errors to be sure. I'm really not certain how much confidence McVay has in Goff but I hope it's in line with this article.
the other media guys also don't have the access that guys like Mike gets...mostly speculation and assumptions and parroted takes from the national media who don't have the access.
Sure Goff has had his issues this year, but his good far outweighs the bad, but the national media likes to focus on the negative's
McVay is now 37-0 when leading at halftime and Goff was there for 36 of those wins... I know people want to make it about anyone else but him, but there is no denying the facts....If you ever hear how McVay talks about Goff it would seem pretty clear that McVay loves him and credits him for his own success. I think people just want to stir up controversy for the sake of it.
the Goff demise is highly exagerated by many....like the article says, the kid is resilient and will bounce back like he always does
