They got rid of the soul of their offense in Gurley. They got rid of the speed in their wideout corps in Cooks. They got rid of a Hall of Fame DC in Wade Phillips. They got rid of their long time kicker Greg Zuerlein. They lost some guys in FA like Fowler.
And all their moves worked.
Think about that one a minute. How is that possible. The only one they whiffed on was kicker but guess what. This is why I said before this game I could feel the stars aligning. Not that the Rams would pull off an improbable run but it feels like they have the team to do it or make a real nice attempt.
You know what it all has in common? McVay. The dude is elite already but he's learning and growing as we watch all this. How good is this guy going to be in ten years?
