You think he really didn't know? He can memorize a playbook and run a complicated offense and went to Berkley and he's a dope? It was reality tv which bears only a passing resemblance to actual reality.
Have you seen any of his pranks / stunts on youtube where he tries out for a college team. He's got a sense of humor. No need to make things up to bash Goff. He's inconsistent as a pro. That seems to be his greatest flaw
