IMO that's his biggest flaw. Pressing. Trying to make plays when shutting down is a better option. Run out of bounds, take the sack, throw it away.
But I don't think your description is completely accurate. That he is slower and more cautious. Against certain defenses he is. And it's just certain ones. IMO that's why Seattle copied that defensive playbook after they found out in Rams/Seattle game 1 that blitzing a lot wasn't going to work.
