And let’s assume that the Bears somehow beat the Packers, just for sake of argument, which forces Rams to beat the Cards straight up.
I think the Rams have a shot at beating the Cards, even without Kupp, IF everybody else simply settles down and does their damned job for one game which will enable Wolford to do just enough to eke out a win.
Our D can keep us in the game and if our ST can avoid mistakes they are capable of flipping the field and scoring a few points themselves.
So, by process of elimination it will come down to this crippled O doing enough to beat the Cards.
Two glimmers of hope are that Murray is reportedly hurt himself and that there is an outside chance that Akers can play.
Let’s just say that a Ram win, even under these circumstances doesn’t look like The Impossible Dream to me. We’ve all seen stranger things.
And if the Rams do win this game, then we might see some players returning for that playoff game with the Seahawks. Including Goff, Whit, Kupp, Akers, and who knows beyond that?
