I really think this guy has something that Goff doesn't. He has the ability to throw his receivers open. As long as the offensive line gives him time this guy is going to find the open receiver and hit him in stride. Look for Van Jefferson to be his biggest target. Van Jefferson had his biggest catches in training camp scrimmages with Wolford as the QB. With Goff last week..Jefferson was wide open on a bunch of plays yet Goff never looked his way.
Jefferson could have had a TD in the 1st qtr if Goff looked his way instead of staring down Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods and Tyler Higbee while getting hit and ball batted down. Goff reaction time is slow and he holds onto the ball too long.
