My point is the "value" of "pressure" statistics actually depends on the individual qb at issue.
It does and it doesn't. Some are better at it but there is no qb who never succumbs to pressure. The best at it like Wilson can be overwhelmed--as we have seen because the Rams have done it to him.
If pressure did not have an effect then the Rams wasted money when the signed Donald to his extension. He has value precisely because he brings relentless pressure.
Pressure is really a measure of pass blocking IMO.
