McVay/Goff

Has McVay lost his touch or is he hamstrung by a limited QB? Maybe a little (or a lot) of both.

Some people have been saying McVay had limited or dumbed down his offense. I wasn't sure about that until today.

It really looks to me like he doesn't trust Goff or the OL to keep him free from pressure.

It felt like on the 3rd and 4th and one, he didn't want to risk having Goff attempt a throw. That would have been the play since Seattle was gearing up to stop the run up the middle. I just sense a strong distrust from McVay.

So while it may be a little of both I think it's mostly McVay being hamstrung by a limited QB.
