It's bad all the way around for this offense. Mcvay had zero creativity this year this offense looks lost. I'm not buying into we have no deep threat. Would we be better with a deep threat yes. Why did we not address this then in the draft, free agency etc, deep threats are a dime a dozen a guy that can run fast could be had in the later rounds and throughout free agency. The problem is way deeper Goff looks bad to many times a year his passes aren't where they should be and flutter way to much. That pass to Higbee was alarming today and so many rushed passes that were off the mark. The ball needs to be placed to allow your receivers to run after catch not fall down backwards or awkwardly to make the catch. We still have 4 above average receivers and we can't make anything happen with them. I'm talking about kupp, woods, higbee, everett. You give any qbs those type of receivers and they ain't complaining about a lack of targets. Three of those 4 we have extended meaning they are a critical part of offense and guys mcvay and snead don't want to lose. I have to put the blame on McVay and Goff they are not on the same page this year. Can't get any type of rhythm or chemistry going this year.
