I think it has to do with how spoiled we were in 2017-2018

he went from bust to a bust in Canton over night with the arrival of McVay.....lighting up scoreboards across the country and to a Super Bowl just two short years after being labeled a bust by the media and fans in his final days in the Fisher era.....finishing 5th in QB rating in 2017 and 8th in 2018

Then, the single most upsetting thing to all of that happened when our do it all RB and OPY injured and already injured knee and then the Cooks injuries then the OL issues etc...

This isn't the same team from those days and I think people still expect the same QB (and coach) to continue to light up scoreboards...they currently are the youngest team in the NFC
and will have some growing pains along the way...

It's actually a credit to Goff and McVay that this team is still winning and set to make the playoffs for the 3rd time in 4 years....

I think McSnead are going to either draft or sign a FA WR with speed to at least give us the threat of a deep shot and hope that Akers or Hendo can develop into something close to what Gurley once was....

Goff didn't forget how to play QB over night he simply isn't surrounded by what we once had.....don't expect the same results, but we should still expect to win.....which, luckily we have pretty much continued to do so and that is all that matters in the end as we have a good chance at going 11-5

if you told me we could go 11-5 or 10-6 every year, I would take it.
