I doubt he took the Jets lightly... Didn't the broadcast team say that McVay called Adam Gase to talk to him before the game? Saying that he said he watched the JETS and saw that they were really talented and competing?
Didn't sound like McVay took them lightly....it looked like McVay was testing his team to see if they would rise to the occasion but also trying to keep his team from revealing too much before the big game.
The defense didn't blitz and was bend but don't break yesterday...which was odd. Almost like a preseason game.
