The defense played just as poorly if not worse than the offense. They have no room to throw stones.
I could see how Donald is pissed off at the defense, seeing how the let a 0-13 Jets team come out in the 1st quarter and have a 13 play, 74 yard, 7:12 minute drive for a TD. The Jets forced their will on the Rams defense that drive.
Right after halftime the Rams "elite" defense gave up an almost identical drive (11 plays, 72 yards, 6:30 min). Once again shoving it down the Rams throat.
I could see how Donald is pissed the the secondary couldn't keep a 65 year old RB from getting a 1st down at end the game.
The defense made some great stops today. They also gave up 23 points to a 0-13 team.
Just like the 4th quarter against SF and the Bills game. The Rams D couldn't make a stop with the game on the line.
"Elite" defenses shut down 0-13 teams.
